Presented by the BluesFeast Trust, Rhythm Rotorua is Rotorua’s annual celebration of great music, good food, fine wines and boutique beers.
The fifth annual BluesFeast was held on 30 January 2011 on the Rotorua Arts Village (RAVE) grounds. About 700 people enjoyed eight hours of great music, including big band swing, jazz, blues, pop covers and rock.
For 2012, we have changed the name of the event to Rhythm Rotorua to better reflect the increasing range of toe-tapping music that we have on offer. The programme will feature the best of local talent plus some national musical icons; The Great Lake Big Band, Storehouse, The Recliner Rockers, Kindred, Bullfrog Rata and Mojo Mama, and special guest Midge Marsden.
As in previous years, there will be a fine selection of food on sale from some of the region’s top food specialists. There will be a well-run and well-stocked bar providing a range of fine wines, boutique beers and other drinks to tempt music lovers.
Tickets are available now from the Rotorua Arts Village (RAVE), the Belgian Bar, Ticketmaster and the NZ Credit Union for just $25 each.
